Local Attractions And Things To Do

Sennybridge and the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons).

The White House Country Hotel situated to the south of Powys and in the heart of the Bannau Brycheinog (Brecon Beacons National Park). Powys is registered as the largest county in Wales, covering a quarter of the whole country, yet it has one of the smallest populations, it is well known to have more sheep than humans. We pride ourselves on our beautiful countryside and activities.

Bannau Brycheiniog / Brecon Beacons National Park Visitor Centre  is only 7 miles away and is a fantastic place to visit, it has its own cafe, gift shop and is full of information to start you on the right track to visit the Beacons. You can park up and go from the centre on a variety of walks and take in the stunning views of Pen y Fan which is the highest mountain in South Wales.

Storey Arms known locally as the main car park for visitors, is just 10 miles from us.what3words: referral.adjuster.yards

It also has a good selection of independent shops and cafes. All accessible by foot is the canal basin where day boats and canal cruises can be taken, booking is required. Brecon Theatre is also at the canal basin and is very popular to you must book well in advance if you fancy any of the the productions.
